  • How accurate is the CO2 sensor on my incubator?

CO2 sensors provide reliable and accurate readings when calibrated once per year. Be aware that thermocouple (T/C) sensors may drift by up to 1% annually, making regular calibration essential for precise CO2 control.

  • How long is my calibration valid?

Calibration validity typically lasts one year, which aligns with industry standards and manufacturer recommendations.

  • How often should I clean my filter or condenser?

To maintain efficient system performance and avoid overheating, manufacturers recommend cleaning filters and condensers every 3–6 months. Routine cleaning helps prolong equipment life and reduce service issues.

  • What is the benefit of having a Preventive Maintenance Inspection performed on my unit?

A preventive maintenance inspection improves equipment reliability and efficiency by identifying potential issues before they lead to system failure. This proactive approach helps minimize downtime and maintain peak performance.

  •  What is the benefit of having a service contract?

A service contract provides peace of mind by covering all repair and maintenance needs for the year once your unit is approved. This helps to maintain consistent, high‑quality service while simplifying annual budgeting and lifecycle planning for your equipment.

  • My unit is maintaining its temperature but is making a loud or unusual sound. Should I call for service?

Yes. Even if temperature is stable, loud or unusual noises can indicate mechanical problems. Early service intervention helps prevent unexpected equipment failure. Please contact our office to schedule a service call.

  • Do you provide emergency service?

Yes. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day. Please contact our office immediately to place an emergency service call.

  • What is the purpose of my alarm battery?

If your unit loses power, the alarm battery keeps the display operational and shows the internal temperature. It will also trigger alarms if temperatures rise above the high‑temperature set point. The alarm battery powers only the display and alarms, not the compressors or other components.

  • Where do I find the make, model, and serial information on my freezer?

Freezer identification labels are typically located in one of three places:
        • On the back of the unit near the top or bottom
        • On the lower left exterior side of the unit
        • Inside the cabinet at the top right or left corner
